Responsibilities:


Conduct routine calibration assessments and validation of temperature measurement instruments to comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements for both batch and continuous furnaces.

Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to enhance heat treatment processes for optimal efficiency and quality.

Troubleshoot and resolve any challenges with monitoring equipment; propose enhancements to improve operational effectiveness.

Engage with suppliers and oversee the procurement and calibration of monitoring equipment.

Manage thermocouple site inventories in collaboration with suppliers.

Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices in quality monitoring; implement new methodologies and technologies as suitable.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of monitoring activities, calibration records, and modifications made to heat treatment processes.

Support quality assurance documentation requirements for furnace evaluations and participate in audits as necessary.

Adhere to combustion safety protocols to foster a secure work environment for all team members.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent level of education (minimum)

Prior experience in quality monitoring within an industrial context, preferably in thermal maintenance.

Thorough understanding of temperature measurement instruments, calibration protocols, and industry standards such as AMS2750 and CQI-9.

Knowledge of combustion safety, burner checks, NFPA-86, and NFPA-6.

Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail to accurately interpret data and identify deviations from expected parameters.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Commitment to safety protocols and ensuring a safe work environment for all employees. A documented history of successful project implementation, strong communication skills, and understanding of matrix organization complexity

Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members
