In this position, you will be instrumental in supporting the Quality System for the production of lithographic printing plates, encompassing aspects such as packaging, testing, storage, and planning.

Your responsibilities will include providing precise and current specifications, testing methodologies, and procedures for all quality assessments. You will oversee product performance and consistency, guiding Production and Engineering teams in addressing any deviations from quality standards.

The role involves analyzing product performance data to identify strategies for enhancing quality and consistency.

Additionally, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of our products and their applications, leading investigations into customer complaints.

During these investigations, collaboration with Plate Application Specialists, Operations, Sales, and Customers will be essential to resolve issues effectively.

Continuous improvement initiatives will be a key focus of your role, which may include:

  • Product enhancements
  • Raw material modifications
  • New testing methods and equipment
  • Certification of new processes
  • Commercialization of new products

As part of the broader manufacturing team, you will actively seek opportunities to improve product quality, yield, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Furthermore, you will monitor testing results and production attributes in relevant databases to ensure adherence to specifications and testing frequency, while also detecting trends or early signs of issues through statistical process control techniques.
