Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to spearhead our HR function in Washington, DC. This individual will lead the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and practices that align with TeleSolv's business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and employee relations, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and talent acquisition. A minimum of 10+ years of progressive HR Management experience is required, with at least 5 years as an HR Manager in a company with employees supporting Federal contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and administer policies, processes, and practices impacting the selection, placement, retention, development, and rewarding of employees.
  • Ensure timely and complete execution of HR plans and processes, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with key leaders to ensure HR controls are in place for employment, compensation, benefits, healthcare, leadership development, training, and affirmative action.
  • Provide expertise and solutions for staffing and placement, partnering with key leaders on critical strategic hires.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues from inception to resolution, counseling and coaching managers on performance issues.
  • Lead and supervise the company's Human Resources staff, providing training and functional oversight.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in building teams, quickly earning respect, and gaining confidence at all levels of the organization.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with EEOC, AAP, FMLA, ADA, and the SCA.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to be persuasive and compelling.
  • Demonstrated high sense of urgency and a track record of on-time project delivery.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
