About This Role:

We are seeking a skilled Project Lead and Strategist to join our innovative team supporting a Federal government client. In this role, you will work closely with project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, costs, and meeting plans are communicated effectively.

Key responsibilities include planning project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines; communicating schedule and changes to all stakeholders; planning and facilitating project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals; preparing agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries; monitoring task completion status to identify at-risk project tasks and develop mitigation plans; allocating resources, budgets, and hours to the project and adjusting allocations when necessary; ensuring project schedules align with technical solutions and deliverables; gathering and organizing information related to problems or operational procedures; overseeing the production and delivery of project outcomes; staffing and ensuring the right personnel are in place for project success; providing ongoing direction and oversight of project team members.

A successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, public policy, or a related discipline; 5+ years of relevant professional experience; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders; knowledge of Human-Centered Design/Design Thinking, employee experience, customer experience, and/or service design; a curious and open-minded approach to work; the ability to thrive in a continuous Build-Measure-Learn cycle; engagement with technology—with comfort and ease (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Monday, Slack, etc.); excellent verbal and written communication skills; and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance. A certification in Human-Centered Design, design thinking, and/or service design background; PMP Certification; and experience consulting or working for the Federal government are preferred qualifications.
