Customer Service Sales Representative

Compensation:
$19.00 / hour

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Full-Time Sales Associate serves as the customer service expert within the retail environment.

This role is dedicated to surpassing customer expectations by actively listening to their needs, identifying suitable products, delivering comprehensive product information, and successfully finalizing sales transactions.


Key Responsibilities:


Achieve and exceed sales targetsMaintain brand and operational standards (visual presentation, cleanliness, etc.)Proactively address customer needs and exceed expectations by adhering to the U.N.I.Q.L.O. service standards, following the Uniqlo Fundamental Principles, and utilizing the six standard phrases.

Be knowledgeable of fitting room protocols and assist as necessaryAct as a cashier when required, following established cashier proceduresProcess incoming shipments and ensure all merchandise is displayed on the sales floor in full size runsAssist management in identifying and resolving store-related issuesProvide customers with product and brand knowledgeAdhere to all company policies and procedures and report any infractions to managementAssist with special projects as assigned by management


Required Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication skillsAbility to perform calculations involving discounts and percentagesAbility to stand for extended periods, read computer screens, and lift or carry objects weighing at least 25 poundsAbility to navigate the sales floor and stockroom effectively, including repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing


Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or G.E.D., or 6 months of retail or related experience.


Full-Time Availability Requirements:
Average of 32 or more hours per week, adjusted for business seasonality.
Open availability on weekends (religious exemptions will be considered). Availability restrictions limited to two days per week.
