Overview:
The Boston Consulting Group Inc is seeking a Senior Manager of Client Engagement. This role is pivotal in bridging business development, account oversight, marketing, and client relations within our most significant accounts.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manager of Client Engagement, you will be an integral part of a BCG account team, contributing to a wide array of initiatives essential for client success and team collaboration.

Your primary function will be to act as a strategic advisor and serve as the "chief of staff" to the lead Partner(s) on the account, including the Chief Coordinating Officer (CCO) or primary BCG relationship partner.

Key Skills:
The aim of the Senior Manager of Client Engagement position is to deliver strategic assistance to Client Coordinating Officers (CCOs) and account teams for our largest and most intricate clients, aligning with the account's business development objectives.

You will develop expertise on the client, acting as a Chief of Staff to the CCO, identifying avenues for client growth, and ensuring optimal account performance.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Leading the account planning process by creating a comprehensive client account strategy in collaboration with the account team to direct activities and priorities.
  • Overseeing the execution of the account plan, driving initiatives to achieve team goals through effective project management.
  • Developing and maintaining a client relationship map, ensuring a robust engagement strategy for key relationships to foster deep and personal connections.
  • Managing the account marketing strategy, including event planning and dissemination of thought leadership.
  • Serving as a knowledgeable resource on the client, maintaining essential client information and insights.
  • Tracking industry trends and changes to provide the account leadership with a comprehensive understanding of the market landscape.
  • Identifying potential growth opportunities for the account and conducting necessary quantitative analyses.
  • Engaging in internal practice areas and functional topic conferences to stay informed on relevant industry trends and BCG offerings.

Creating and Measuring Value:
Coordinating client feedback, including survey analysis and senior leadership interviews, to enhance account value.

Team Collaboration:
Acting as a thought partner to the CCO and Partner team, providing insights on existing account tools and processes, and identifying opportunities for improved collaboration.

Internal Partnerships:
Functioning as a liaison across BCG's internal teams, including marketing, finance, and staffing, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
