Position Overview

As the Engagement Activities Manager, you will be responsible for designing and executing a variety of programs that enrich the lives of our residents, ensuring their active participation and satisfaction. Your role will involve collaborating closely with residents to tailor experiences that bring joy and excitement to their daily routines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive resident-centered activity program in alignment with established guidelines.
  • Lead and coordinate designated programs, creating detailed plans for daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
  • Foster connections among residents, promoting engagement with their interests and the broader community.
  • Conduct fitness sessions and assist residents in using exercise equipment safely and effectively.
  • Encourage participation through spontaneous and enjoyable activities, paying special attention to residents who may be less mobile.
  • Welcome new residents and facilitate their integration into community activities.
  • Implement company-designed programs and keep residents informed about upcoming events.
  • Create and distribute an engaging monthly activity calendar that reflects community events.
  • Support operational goals by striving for high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Oversee community opening and closing procedures as needed.
  • Engage in public relations efforts to promote the community positively.
  • Manage departmental objectives within budgetary constraints.
  • Supervise and develop the transportation team to meet residents' needs.
  • Assist in recruiting and training volunteers to enhance community activities.
  • Plan and organize seasonal events and celebrations for residents.
  • Maintain organized and clean activity spaces.
  • Complete other duties as assigned to support community operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all training and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in planning and executing group activities.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in standard office equipment and computer applications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.
  • Experience with technology, including Microsoft Office and tablets.
  • Commitment to ongoing training and compliance with industry standards.
