JOB OVERVIEW

As the Engagement Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to design and execute programs that enrich the lives of our residents, aligning with their interests and enhancing their active lifestyle. You will work closely with residents to tailor experiences that bring joy and excitement to their daily routines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will be expected to uphold our Mission, Principles of Service, and Core Values. Your specific duties will include:

  • Developing a comprehensive resident-centered activity program that adheres to established guidelines.
  • Leading designated Engage Life programs and creating detailed plans for daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
  • Finding innovative ways to connect residents with each other, their interests, and the broader community.
  • Facilitating exercise sessions and guiding residents in the proper use of fitness equipment.
  • Encouraging resident participation by incorporating elements of spontaneity and enjoyment, particularly for those who may be less mobile.
  • Welcoming new residents and actively engaging them in community activities.
  • Implementing company-designed programs as specified.
  • Keeping residents informed about upcoming events and maintaining an updated schedule of activities.
  • Creating and distributing a visually appealing monthly program calendar that highlights community events.
  • Supporting operational goals to achieve high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Conducting community opening and closing procedures as required.
  • Acting as a manager on duty when necessary.
  • Engaging in community public relations efforts and collaborating on positive publicity initiatives.
  • Coordinating departmental needs within budgetary constraints.
  • Overseeing the recruitment, training, and management of transportation staff to meet resident needs.
  • Assisting in organizing celebrations and events, including seasonal decorations and special resident recognitions.
  • Maintaining clean and organized activity spaces.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Ensuring compliance with required training and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED; an Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • One to two years of relevant experience in coordinating and executing group activities.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in operating standard office equipment.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and other technology tools.
  • Commitment to ongoing training and compliance with regulatory standards.
