We are seeking a skilled Senior Consultant specializing in Records and Information Management (RIM) to enhance our team at Savan. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the organization's RIM strategy, aimed at elevating the agency's maturity within the RIM program framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and comprehend the priorities of the agency's records management initiatives while facilitating records lifecycle processes.
  • Create comprehensive guidelines for managing paper and electronic records, as well as overseeing digitalization efforts in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders on navigating challenges related to information governance.
  • Assist in the deployment of electronic records management systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Extensive understanding of laws and practices governing records and information management.
  • Proven experience in strategic documentation and addressing eRecords challenges.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in RIM or Information Governance.
  • A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • Capability to secure and uphold a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in translating intricate requirements into straightforward directives.
  • Familiarity with records inventories, file plans, or records schedules.
  • Knowledge of platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft Purview, and Documentum.
  • Exceptional business writing abilities.
