Job Overview

Position Title: Healthcare Informatics Management Consultant

Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is seeking a qualified Management Consultant specializing in Health Informatics. This role involves collaborating with federal health clients to enhance the usability of data. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in healthcare data management and consulting.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will undertake various responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Overseeing Electronic Medical Records and evaluating information systems.
  • Developing innovative methods for data storage and transmission.
  • Facilitating data integration across diverse departments.
  • Providing training to medical personnel on electronic systems.
  • Engaging in stakeholder management, requirements gathering, information modeling, and process documentation to support clinical informatics software development and related project activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Health Systems Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in program analysis and/or informatics, particularly within federal health agencies, with a strong preference for Veterans Health Administration experience.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in management consulting.
  • Proficiency in requirements elicitation, analysis, user acceptance testing, and documentation of systems related to health information and clinical data.
  • Experience collaborating with a diverse team of senior leaders and clients, adept at managing shifting priorities and navigating ambiguity.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing various stakeholders.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated capability to identify and resolve issues and risks.
  • Proven leadership skills to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
  • Capability to obtain a public trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification.
  • Familiarity with SAFe's Lean Agile principles and practices.
