Position Overview:

Role:
Guest Services Operations Supervisor

Oversee the front office functions of the hotel, ensuring alignment with established guest service and environmental sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities:


Recruit, select, train, schedule, mentor, and support team members, ensuring adherence to established brand or hotel standards and alignment with core company values.

Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and strive to enhance departmental and overall guest experience.

Manage all financial operations related to the front office and ensure compliance with accounting controls and procedures.

Develop, implement, and oversee departmental budgets and forecasts on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis. Review and submit capital budget requests as necessary.

Supervise all managers within the guest services department.

Review guest correspondence and incident reports, directing staff based on the information received.

Oversee all vendor and personnel contracts throughout the hotel.

Monitor guest room occupancy to ensure optimal utilization and minimize overbooking situations.

Create specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely action plans to address guest service shortcomings.

Adhere to sustainability practices in line with the company's environmental initiatives.

Maintain safe working practices, utilize protective safety equipment, and comply with safety standards.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

2 to 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Work Environment:

Work schedule may vary and could include holidays and weekends.

Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
