Industrial Engineer Opportunity at American Battery Solutions

American Battery Solutions is seeking a dedicated Industrial Engineer to enhance our operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in refining cost structures, boosting productivity, optimizing workflows, and elevating service metrics within our Materials and Logistics sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess warehouse operations to improve labor efficiency, spatial utilization, accuracy, and safety standards.
  • Analyze current processes, pinpoint inefficiencies, and propose enhancements.
  • Oversee significant warehouse initiatives, including return on investment assessments and equipment specifications.
  • Design optimal manufacturing and warehouse layouts to facilitate smooth material movement.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and spearhead continuous improvement projects.
  • Apply lean production methodologies and tools to ensure operational adaptability.
  • Refine logistics frameworks and assist in material procurement and distribution.
  • Concentrate on minimizing lead times and promote the use of lean logistics strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with the Logistics team to enhance shipping, receiving, and storage processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, or Business Administration.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in industrial engineering or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with MRP and ERP systems, along with a solid understanding of supply chain dynamics.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient knowledge of quality management frameworks.
