General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team. As a Production Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, operating various types of production equipment, and performing inspections to identify defects in raw materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Operate production equipment, including presses, CNC machine centers, and winding machines, to produce high-quality products.
  • Perform regular inspections to identify defects in raw materials and report any issues to management.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble products as needed, following specifications and under simulated conditions.
  • Participate in cross-training programs to develop skills and knowledge in various operations.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

  • Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects in raw materials.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and management.
