Electromechanical Product Inspector

The Quality Assurance Specialist works closely with the quality organization and technical center departments to continuously improve the performance of key product and system components in an expanding product portfolio. This role assists the quality engineer, manufacturing, and operations to meet customer requirements.

• Support incoming inspection, autopsy activities, and production control operations.
• Inspect, evaluate, and provide disposition of components used in the production of electromechanical products.
• Support quality requirements for components to ensure correct parts are received and verified for product quality.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Adhere to corporate, federal, and state employment policies.
• Communicate with quality engineers regarding quality requirements.
• Participate in MRB & NCR meetings to support a resolution of supplier quality issues.
• Send Quality reports to Purchasing and internal customers as required.
• Work with purchasing to swap out defective components.
• Adhere to federal and state regulations.

• Associate Degree and a minimum of three (3) years minimum experience with supplier quality or a High School Diploma and a minimum of five (5) years in a supplier quality role are required.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, gages, and a variety of other-dimensional tools is required.
• Working knowledge of quality systems and processes.
• Proficient with Excel, agile data analysis tools are required.
