Job Overview: The Senior Security Engineering Specialist collaborates with Business Sales to promote T-Mobile for Business products and services by utilizing their extensive technical expertise, experience, and industry insights.

In this role, you will engage in pre-sales activities, consulting with customers to understand their business needs, identify challenges, and devise solutions tailored to their requirements.

The Senior Specialist will architect and design solutions, provide pre-sales technical support during sales presentations, conduct product demonstrations, and address customers' technical inquiries, establishing themselves as a leader among peers.

Additionally, you will support Business Sales by reviewing specific customer opportunities and sales pipelines, keeping the teams informed about relevant technologies and industry trends.

The Senior Specialist will maintain expert-level knowledge in Device Security, Endpoint Security, and collaborate with customers, Sales Engineers, and Sales teams to drive sales and achieve financial objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical input for RFPs and strategizing with the sales team to enhance sales performance.
  • Owning customer technical relationships and understanding their unique needs.
  • Designing and architecting services and solutions, uncovering opportunities, and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Acting as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Solution Engineering organization for security applications and design.
  • Executing Go-to-Market strategies in collaboration with sales, product, and third-party vendors.
  • Assisting with training and creating technical documentation for the Solution Engineering and Business Sales teams.
  • Partnering with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales Operations, and Customer Care teams to provide feedback and support special projects.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (Required)
MS/MBA (Preferred)

Work Experience:

5+ years in telecommunications or pre-sales solution engineering with a proven track record in successful solution sales and managing relationships in a matrix environment.

5+ years of experience in engineering or supporting secure cloud services, SASE, Zero Trust Foundations, Endpoint Protection, Hybrid and Multi-Cloud, Data Management, and/or SD solutions and architectures.

Experience with container environments such as Kubernetes and public cloud certifications are preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong technical documentation and presentation skills are essential for conveying design benefits to diverse audiences.

Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a preference for data-driven decision-making.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

Industry security certifications and experience in Collaboration/UC are preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

Experience and certification in Microsoft security and licensing solutions are required.

Total Target Cash Pay Range:
$131,600 - $237,400, inclusive of target incentives

Base Pay Range:
$92,120 - $166,180. The pay range above represents the general base pay range for a successful candidate in this role. Actual pay will depend on various factors, including work location, qualifications, and experience.
