Job Overview
The Senior Security Engineering Specialist collaborates with Business Sales to promote T-Mobile for Business products and services, utilizing their robust technical expertise, experience, and industry insights.

In this role, you will engage in pre-sales activities, consulting on customer opportunities to understand their business needs, identify challenges, and devise tailored solutions.

The Senior Specialist is responsible for architecting and designing solutions, providing presales technical support during sales presentations, conducting product demonstrations, and addressing customers' technical inquiries, establishing themselves as a leader among peers.

Additionally, you will support Business Sales by reviewing specific customer opportunities and sales pipelines, keeping the teams informed about relevant technologies and industry trends.

The Senior Specialist will maintain expert-level knowledge of Device Security, Endpoint Security, and consult with customers, Sales Engineers, and Sales teams to drive sales and achieve financial objectives.

Moreover, you will be required to obtain and maintain product-specific certifications, present product roadmaps as necessary, assist with post-sale support and escalations, and maintain a comprehensive understanding of T-Mobile's wireless network and related technologies.

To stay at the forefront of the industry, the Senior Specialist will engage in both internal and external training opportunities and pursue relevant partner or industry certifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in pre-sales activities, including providing technical input for RFPs, strategizing with the sales team to enhance regional and national sales, and managing customer technical relationships.
- Design and architect services and solutions, uncover opportunities, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Solution Engineering organization for security applications and concepts.
- Design and support the implementation of Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and Return on Value (RoV) tailored to customer expectations.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and third-party vendors to execute Go-to-Market strategies.
- Assist in the development of training materials and technical documentation for the Solution Engineering and Business Sales teams.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales Operations, and Customer Care teams to provide feedback and support special projects.

Education:
A Bachelor's Degree is required; a Master's Degree or MBA is preferred.

Work Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications and pre-sales solution engineering, demonstrating a successful track record in solution sales and managing relationships in a matrix environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in engineering or supporting secure cloud services, SASE, Zero Trust Foundations, Endpoint Protection, Hybrid and Multi-Cloud, Data Management, and/or SD solutions and architectures.
- Experience with container environments such as Kubernetes and public cloud certifications is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong technical documentation and presentation skills to effectively communicate design benefits to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a preference for data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Industry security certifications and experience in Collaboration/UC are preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:
- Experience and certification in Microsoft security and licensing solutions are required.

Total Target Cash Pay Range:
$131,600 - $237,400, inclusive of target incentives.

Base Pay Range:
$92,120 - $166,180. The pay range above reflects the general base pay range for a successful candidate in this role. Actual pay will depend on various factors, including work location, qualifications, and experience.
