About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Talent to join our team at Pursuit Aerospace. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing programs that support career development, enhance talent experiences, and promote internal mobility within the organization.

This role will involve working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy a harmonized performance management process, evolve the talent review process, and own execution and metrics across the organization. You will also be responsible for deploying and supporting succession planning programs for all leaders, curating and deploying a standard leadership development strategy, and creating and deploying a DEI strategy and 3-year roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide great service to internal HR and leadership customers
  • Create and deploy a harmonized performance management process
  • Evaluate and evolve the talent review process
  • Own execution and metrics across the organization
  • Deploy and support succession planning programs for all leaders
  • Curate and deploy a standard leadership development strategy
  • Create and deploy a DEI strategy and 3-year roadmap
  • Co-create a technical talent roadmap and subsequent action plans
  • Stand up learning management system (LMS) standard work, functional catalogs, and basic compliance requirements
  • Partner with the Director of Total Rewards on career pathing and internal mobility initiatives
  • Provide oversight and strategic recommendations for local workforce development initiatives
  • Champion Pursuit's involvement in employer of choice surveys
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with external partners
  • Support the integration of acquisitions
  • Provide coaching, direction, and leadership support to employees
  • Partner with site HR teams regarding the delivery of products, programs, and services
  • Develop and deliver communications and training on talent and engagement programs
  • Create standard work/processes and policies and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Use data to inform recommendations and ensure talent planning is aligned to a performance-based philosophy

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in Talent Management, Workforce Development, Engagement, or other related area
  • Deep knowledge of talent and engagement best practices, trends, and regulations
  • Experience creating and managing talent and performance programs
  • Experience designing and implementing a cross-Company DEI strategy
  • Experience integrating acquisitions into existing talent, performance, and engagement programs
  • Understanding of the learning technology space and the available tools to meet our diverse employee population
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering learning and leadership strategies to multiple levels within the organization
  • Ability to facilitate alignment between multiple projects running simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and prioritize competing demands
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Builds capacity of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication, and supervision efforts
  • High degree of personal responsibility; meets commitments
  • Self-motivated; possesses a sense of urgency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions
  • Demonstrable experience using data for HR Metrics and subsequent action planning
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Competence to build and effectively manage collaborative interpersonal relationships at all levels of the Company
  • Experience directly supporting leaders at multiple levels within the organization
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
