Position Overview: The Examination Center Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the operations of the examination facilities within a computer lab setting. This role encompasses all operational aspects of the examination center, including the management of proctors, data collection and reporting, collaboration with the academic team, and enhancement of the student experience. The supervisor will also perform proctor duties as needed and is responsible for guiding the proctor team in their roles and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily operations of the examination centers.
  2. Collaborate with the academic team and Director of Nursing Services to develop strategies that promote student success during examinations.
  3. Create and maintain the examination center schedule in partnership with nursing leadership.
  4. Evaluate and enforce established protocols and policies to ensure the integrity of examinations.
  5. Develop schedules for the examination center and proctors to ensure adequate coverage for academic testing needs.
  6. Monitor and address any issues that arise within the examination center, including student concerns and equipment malfunctions.
  7. Track and report testing anomalies identified by proctors in both in-person and online settings to the academic team and DNS.
  8. Educate proctors, students, and faculty on testing policies and procedures.
  9. Coordinate with faculty and the academic team to arrange makeup exams for students as necessary.
  10. Work with the accommodations department to ensure that student needs are documented and met during testing.
  11. Analyze weekly attendance data for the examination center and report findings to the academic team.
  12. Utilize technical skills for troubleshooting and improving processes related to both in-person and online examination programs.
  13. Address technology-related issues encountered by students during testing, escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate teams.
  14. Maintain relationships with technology support teams to investigate ongoing equipment and technology concerns.
  15. Keep abreast of current operating technologies.
  16. Manage inventory and order supplies necessary for the examination center's operations.
  17. Resolve conflicts or complaints from students and faculty, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  18. Perform additional duties as required to support the overall success of the examination center.

Equipment Used:

  • MS Office Suite
  • Google Office Suite

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with Google Office Suite.
  • Experience in a higher education setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required.
