Position Overview: The Administrative Support Worker Lead plays a crucial role in assisting management with various administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to ordering supplies, data entry, and filing tasks.

This position requires a professional and friendly interaction with customers, visitors, and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative duties such as distributing mail, ordering and stocking supplies, answering phone calls, and welcoming visitors.
  • Support unit management with clerical tasks related to accounting, payroll, receiving, and human resources, including filing, data entry, and record maintenance.
  • Welcome customers, clients, and employees; respond to inquiries or direct calls as necessary.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings.
  • Maintain office memos and informative postings.
  • Utilize technology, systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copiers/scanners, personal computers, and MS Office.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills along with excellent organizational abilities. Proficiency in Excel and Word is essential.
  • Ability to effectively connect with employees.
  • Capability to work efficiently and promptly.
  • Strong digital literacy is required, including proficiency in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), internet navigation, typing, and other database and spreadsheet software.
