The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving Regional Enterprise sales growth within an established geographic territory. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing sales strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities with prospective enterprise customers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnels of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.
  • Develop Regional Enterprise sales in designated target markets by identifying new sales opportunities through phone/zoom meetings, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointments.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including Customer Success, Product Marketing, Solutions Technology experts, Sales Support, and Service Delivery.
  • Identify, negotiate, and close new sales opportunities to meet and exceed established sales and revenue quotas.
  • Develop comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from existing accounts.
  • Provide input to sales management on trends and changes within customers' organizations, making recommendations to improve our position with the customer.
  • Leverage strategic client relationships and external presence to achieve Lumen's strategic imperatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience using a solutions-based sales methodology for enterprise telecom or technology services in a consultative complex business line sales process.
  • Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills, as well as proficiency in selling to the close.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Products, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Experience with preferred.
Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location-Based Pay Ranges: $67,570 - $90,090 in these states: NY

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Salary Range: $67,570 - $90,090

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
