REVENUE MANAGEMENT ANALYST

The firm is in search of a full-time Revenue Management Analyst to collaborate closely with our pricing, billing, and electronic billing teams, as well as clients and attorneys, in the daily operations related to pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with electronic billing rate submissions and client rate management.
  • Work in conjunction with billing/e-billing teams to resolve pricing-related billing challenges.
  • Maintain pricing and financial databases to ensure they are current and adhere to clients' rate agreements and guidelines.
  • Review newly initiated matters to confirm compliance with clients' rate agreements and guidelines.
  • Support the response process for client requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Contribute to financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis related to clients and matters, including data mining, cleansing, and reconciliation.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of economic models to project the financial implications of proposed client pricing strategies and staffing frameworks.
  • Develop pricing and budgeting templates for various types of legal matters, including guidelines and frameworks for application.
  • Communicate client and matter-specific financial terms to the Rate Administration team.
  • Analyze data on client, matter, and portfolio performance, providing and communicating reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage in the development of dashboards and performance reporting, ensuring data governance and integrity.
  • Proactively monitor and manage agreements approaching expiration, agreements with milestone billing structures, and agreements with volume-based discounts.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience within a law firm setting.
  • Ability to understand and apply complex rate structures and billing arrangements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs).
  • Familiarity with Aderant or other legal financial systems.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to convey information clearly and concisely to clients, management, and partners.
  • Capacity to adapt to cyclical periods, peak workloads, new assignments, and work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Aderant and electronic billing systems is advantageous.
