About the Role

The Labcorp team is seeking a highly skilled Account Management Professional to serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective clients in the Greater Boston and NE Mass Territory.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading global life sciences company and play a key role in advancing patient health through diagnostics and drug development offerings. The ideal candidate will reside within the designated territory and have limited travel.

As a seasoned Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a large existing book of business while introducing new focus specialty products, analytical platforms, and workflow efficiencies to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate and instruct assigned and newly generated accounts on Labcorp's offerings
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and the Labcorp operations team
  • Provide ongoing service and problem resolution to the customer base
  • Ensure customer retention through superior customer service
  • Recommend solutions that meet client needs and preferences
  • Manage day-to-day account operations for clients
  • Upsell current accounts to drive organic growth
  • Collaborate with senior sales representatives to expand the book of business
  • Develop and deliver educational materials to the client base
  • Resolve customer-related issues efficiently
  • Meet or exceed monthly retention and upsell goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience or account management
  • Healthcare industry experience a plus
  • Proven success managing a book of business
  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to build trust-based relationships
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, competitive market
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Estimated Salary Range:$85,000 - $110,000 per year
