Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Assistant Manager to join our team at Craters & Freighters NY/NJ. This role is essential in supporting the office's daily operations, managing financial tasks, and providing personal assistance to the company leadership.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support:
    • Coordinate office events, such as holiday lunches and team gatherings.
    • Manage and maintain office supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels and orders are placed as needed.
    • Act as the point of contact for external vendors and service providers.
  2. Bookkeeping Duties:
    • Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
    • Compute and record numerical data
    • Check the accuracy of business transactions
    • Perform data entry and administrative duties
  3. Personal Assistance:
    • Handle personal requests and tasks for company leadership efficiently and discreetly.
    • Provide administrative support for company leadership's other business ventures, ensuring tasks and communications are handled efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, bookkeeping, accounting, or similar role.
  • Bookkeeping experience is required, with proficiency in QuickBooks, Netsuite, and Xero.
  • Experience in Google Suite and Monday.com is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
