Position Summary:

As the Technical Support Manager, you will oversee the operations of our technical support team, ensuring the effective resolution of technical challenges while promoting product development and quality assurance. Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and managing annual new product initiatives and technical resource allocation, ensuring the integrity of product offerings across various regions.
  • Monitoring the development timeline of new products, facilitating the achievement of conversion rates and timely product delivery.
  • Conducting market research, product benchmarking, and identifying issues to enhance product structure and increase sales.
  • Managing after-sales complaints, ensuring quality control, risk assessment, and communicating quality expectations to relevant departments.
  • Overseeing spare parts management and supporting the development of the spare parts market.
  • Ensuring quality control of prototypes, maintaining high standards for sample qualification, and improving prototype conversion rates.
  • Coordinating IT projects within the Technical Support Department.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical support, product development, or similar roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a technical support team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of product development processes and quality control practices within the HVAC sector.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the US for client meetings and industry events, with potential travel requirements up to 70%.
  • Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other sales-related software.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored work authorization.
