About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Manager to join our sales team in New York. As a Brand Partnerships Executive, you will be responsible for building and managing a pipeline of outbound sourced leads focused on your market territory, from samples drop off through to order placed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and managing a pipeline of outbound sourced leads focused on your market territory, from samples drop off through to order placed.
- Communicating with customers via a mixture of in-person meetings and phone/email/video to understand their needs.
- Continuously learning about new products to effectively communicate their attributes and benefits to customers.
- Creating quotes and proposals to send to prospective customers.
- Managing ongoing relationships with assigned and key existing customers within territory to ensure they keep buying on repeat and increase their programs as needed.
- Managing day-to-day conversations, tasks, and follow-ups to efficiently close business.
- Keeping the CRM up to date.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years' experience in Mid-market & Enterprise Sales, as an Account Executive or other sales focused role in a B2B environment.
- You're an accomplished sales achiever who is consistently ranked in the top 20% of your peer group.
- Experience in working cross functionally with other teams.
- High attention to detail.
- Experience in a high growth business.
- Self-starter with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Bonus: Food industry and packaging industry or manufacturing experience.
