Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Client Service Representative to join our team at Jewish Family & Children's Service. As a Client Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for clients and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating services, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Intake and Coordination: Inquire about clients' health and wellness needs, coordinate primary care services, and ensure timely follow-through with JFCS staff and external parties.
  • Communication and Scheduling: Communicate with JFCS staff, schedule client appointments, verify insurance eligibility, and obtain required authorizations.
  • Client Information Management: Obtain initial client inquiry information, process according to office procedures, and update client records as necessary.
  • Relationship Building: Establish good working relationships with referral sources, case managers, and clinical staff, and assist in obtaining interpreter services when needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Scan and import case material, input client information and clinical records, and update computer client files.
Requirements
  • Education: Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent accredited GED.
  • Experience: Previous work experience in a position requiring significant public contact, preferably in a medical office, with computer use, office organization skills, and ability to type 45 wpm.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual Spanish-English preferred.
  • Attendance: Exceptional attendance is mandatory, as continuous front desk and phone coverage is critical to daily operations.
