JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Typing speed of at least 60 WPM is essential; proficient data entry skills are required.
  • All necessary equipment, including a laptop and phone, will be provided.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is necessary.
  • Ability to multi-task with exceptional attention to detail is crucial.
  • Previous experience in customer relations, particularly in hotel reservations or front desk roles, is preferred.
  • Applicants must meet departmental service level agreements (SLA).
  • Fluency in both English and French is required.
  • Commitment to full-time training, approximately 120 hours, is mandatory.
  • Flexibility in work schedule is necessary, as the position involves various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

DUTIES:

  • Professionally and courteously handle inbound calls, adhering to established procedures.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques to promote all properties.
  • Complete reservations and reports promptly, ensuring timely email responses.
  • Ensure accurate interfacing of all reservations into the system.
  • Address inquiries related to individual hotels, including room types, rates, and facilities.
  • Fulfill all tasks assigned by supervisors and managers.
  • Manage membership inquiries for loyalty program members.

APPLICABLE SKILLS:

  • Strong customer relations and typing skills, maintaining professionalism on calls.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Adaptable to change and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of various software applications.
  • Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as Maestro PMS or Opera Cloud is an asset.
  • Driven to exceed guest expectations.
