JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Typing speed of at least 60 WPM is essential; proficient data entry skills are required.
- All necessary equipment, including a laptop and phone, will be provided.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is necessary.
- Ability to multi-task with exceptional attention to detail is crucial.
- Previous experience in customer relations, particularly in hotel reservations or front desk roles, is preferred.
- Applicants must meet departmental service level agreements (SLA).
- Fluency in both English and French is required.
- Commitment to full-time training, approximately 120 hours, is mandatory.
- Flexibility in work schedule is necessary, as the position involves various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
DUTIES:
- Professionally and courteously handle inbound calls, adhering to established procedures.
- Utilize effective selling techniques to promote all properties.
- Complete reservations and reports promptly, ensuring timely email responses.
- Ensure accurate interfacing of all reservations into the system.
- Address inquiries related to individual hotels, including room types, rates, and facilities.
- Fulfill all tasks assigned by supervisors and managers.
- Manage membership inquiries for loyalty program members.
APPLICABLE SKILLS:
- Strong customer relations and typing skills, maintaining professionalism on calls.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Adaptable to change and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
- Computer literate with knowledge of various software applications.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as Maestro PMS or Opera Cloud is an asset.
