Pilot Equipment Service Specialist

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) is a global leader in water recovery, treatment, and reuse. We design, supply, and service a range of water systems and monitoring equipment in various industries, including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and municipal water treatment.

As a Pilot Equipment Service Specialist, you will be responsible for performing on-site and in-house pilot equipment service support for various water treatment technologies. This includes commissioning, decommissioning, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and daily operation of pilot-scale water treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site and in-house pilot equipment service support for various water treatment technologies.
  • Commission, decommission, and perform routine maintenance on pilot-scale water treatment systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with pilot equipment and systems.
  • Operate and maintain pilot-scale water treatment systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or a college diploma with water treatment work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of practical experience with mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required.
  • Ability to travel within the USA and Canada for trips ranging from 5 to 21 days in duration.
  • Ability to perform light manual tasks on-site, including lifting and using hand and power tools.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of drinking water and wastewater treatment concepts and processes.
  • Proficiency with typical computer software programs (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.).
  • Ability to travel to other countries outside of Canada and the USA.
