Position: Construction Manager

Reporting directly to the Director of Project Management, the Construction Manager will oversee construction operations for various distributed energy resource initiatives, including combined heat and power (CHP), fuel cells, energy storage, solar, and geothermal technologies. We are looking to strengthen our Energy Storage division by adding skilled and motivated professionals. Our core team consists of independent thinkers who collaborate effectively to devise practical solutions to contemporary energy challenges. The Storage Team at Endurant Energy utilizes the diverse backgrounds and experiences of its members to create comprehensive and sustainable projects.

The primary focus of this role will be on customer project sites in the surrounding metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers according to the construction timeline.
  • Monitor project schedules and provide updates on progress.
  • Ensure onsite construction adheres to the defined scope, design specifications, construction standards, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Facilitate and resolve Requests for Information (RFIs) between contractors and clients.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly status reports, including relevant data and photographic documentation.
  • Manage onsite relationships with clients and other project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate quality control activities with contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with the site Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) plan, including documentation of safety briefings and assessments.
  • Generate weekly progress reports, documenting work through photographs as necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive project status and progress documentation.
  • Assist in coordinating commissioning activities and executing job closeout procedures.
  • Foster effective relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in construction management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with energy or utility-related construction, particularly with distributed energy resource technologies such as combined heat and power, fuel cells, energy storage, and microgrids.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing various aspects of construction, including scope, budget, schedule, and permitting.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on risk management and mitigation.
  • Comfortable in client-facing scenarios.
  • Able to work effectively in small teams within a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and MS Project.
