The Construction Project Supervisor will assist in supervising on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are organized, planned, and scheduled effectively to meet deadlines and budget constraints. Responsibilities also include managing minor repairs and similar tasks.

Key Requirements:

*****NYC SUPER LICENSE REQUIRED*****

  • OSHA 10-hour certification
  • Experience in trade or commercial sectors is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 references from trades or clients
  • Proficient computer skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise on-site subcontractors with daily communication.
  • Collaborate with the Site Superintendent and Project Manager to maintain the project schedule.
  • Engage with owners and professionals as necessary.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure adherence to the job schedule.
  • Manage the delivery of equipment and materials to the job site.
  • Keep detailed records of deliveries, delays impacting the schedule, requests for information (R.F.I.s), and communications with subcontractors and owners as directed by the management team.
  • Document progress and delays meticulously.
  • Ensure job site cleanliness to promote a safe working environment.
  • Procure materials and supplies as needed to reduce downtime.
  • Demonstrate competence in reading blueprints and a willingness to learn about building layouts, concrete installation processes, and general construction fundamentals, including mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with state and local inspectors to ensure compliance with permit drawings.
