Position Overview:
The Vice President of Advanced Analytics will be a key player in transforming the analytics landscape within the specialty insurance sector. This role is designed for a strategic leader who will work closely with senior management to leverage data-driven insights that enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as a strategic consultant to senior executives and various business units, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to optimize business results.
2. Lead and guide a team of 25-30 analysts specializing in predictive analytics and data science.
3. Design and implement predictive pricing models that accurately assess risk and customer behavior.
4. Utilize advanced modeling techniques, including Generalized Linear Models (GLM) and non-linear methods, to analyze intricate insurance product data.
5. Drive data science projects that incorporate artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance business processes and product offerings.
6. Effectively employ Large Language Models to tackle complex business challenges.
7. Collaborate with IT and data technology partners to ensure the smooth integration and execution of analytical solutions.
8. Uphold data ethics throughout all analytics processes.
9. Continuously enhance the analytics practice by introducing new methodologies and expanding the data asset library to increase the value of both new and existing analytical products.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 10 years of proven leadership experience in the analytics domain, ideally within the property and casualty insurance sector.
2. Strong expertise in actuarial science, predictive modeling, and data science methodologies.
3. Proficiency in GLM, non-linear modeling techniques, and advanced statistical approaches.
4. Familiarity with the application of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and Large Language Models is preferred.
5. Ability to formulate both tactical and long-term strategic plans.
6. Exceptional leadership capabilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership.
