Position Summary

We are in search of a dynamic and enthusiastic Retail Representative who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and knowledgeable guidance regarding our diverse range of cannabis products. This role involves working closely with the store leadership team and reporting directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations with precision and efficiency.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques to enhance customer experience and promote additional products.
  • Be receptive to feedback and coaching from management to improve performance.
  • Assist with inventory management and related tasks as required.
  • Adhere to scheduled shifts and comply with attendance policies.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company regulations.
  • Promote customer loyalty programs and referral incentives.
  • Accurately process transactions using the POS system and maintain cash drawer integrity.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures as necessary.
  • Address customer concerns by escalating issues to management when needed.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and treat customers and colleagues with respect.
  • Ensure the sales floor is organized, clean, and welcoming.
  • Be flexible to assist in various roles during peak times or staff shortages.
  • Integrate company policies into daily interactions and responsibilities.
  • Respond promptly to the needs and requests of customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service within retail, sales, or hospitality.
  • Knowledge of cannabis strains and their applications is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid CO State Badge.
  • Experience in the cannabis or health industry is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Basic math skills are required.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Role requires prolonged periods of standing and some bending or stretching.
  • Ability to operate a computer, POS system, and other office equipment.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds may be necessary.
  • Work is typically conducted in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Frequent interaction with customers and team members is expected.
  • Availability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
