Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley ReStore is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Logistics and Transportation Associate. This role involves managing schedules, performing essential driving tasks, and primarily focusing on the collection of donated goods from various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Schedule and plan donation pickups efficiently.
2. Operate the ReStore vehicle with safety and precision to fulfill daily pickup assignments.
3. Collect donations, ensuring proper loading and unloading procedures.
4. Support daily warehouse operations, including processing incoming donations and maintaining an organized workspace.
5. Document donor contributions accurately.
6. Provide guidance and support to driver helpers, community service workers, and volunteers in completing tasks.
7. Assist customers with their purchases during loading.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and accident response procedures.
9. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all areas of the warehouse and ReStore.
10. Participate in community events for donation collection as needed.
Primary Duties:
1. Organize and manage routes for donation pickups.
2. Drive the vehicle for pickups.
3. Load and unload donations with care.
4. Conduct inspections and maintain the ReStore vehicles.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Valid Colorado Driver's License with a clean driving record.
2. Successful completion of a background check.
3. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
4. Experience in warehouse operations or moving services is advantageous.
5. Strong customer service abilities.
6. Capacity to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
7. Effective time management and organizational skills.
8. Physical ability to lift over 75 lbs, and perform tasks involving standing, squatting, bending, and climbing in/out of the vehicle.
9. Ability to engage positively with diverse individuals.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience driving commercial vehicles (16-foot box truck).
2. Familiarity with the St. Vrain Valley area.
3. Ability to work autonomously.
4. Retail experience is a plus.
5. Experience in lifting, loading, and packing.
6. Bilingual skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
