Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Retail Representative who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and knowledgeable about cannabis products. This role involves collaborating closely with store leadership and ensuring that customers receive personalized attention and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations with precision and care.
  • Utilize effective sales techniques to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.

  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as necessary.

  • Accurately process transactions using the POS system and maintain cash drawer integrity.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures as required.
  • Address customer concerns by escalating issues to management when needed.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards customers and colleagues.
  • Ensure the sales floor is organized, clean, and welcoming.
  • Be flexible to assist in various roles during peak times or staff shortages.
  • Integrate company policies into daily interactions and tasks.
  • Respond promptly to requests from customers and team members.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service within retail, sales, or hospitality sectors.
  • Knowledge of cannabis strains and their uses is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid CO State badge is required.
  • Experience in the cannabis or health industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Basic math skills are necessary for transaction processing.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Position requires prolonged standing and some physical activity such as bending and stretching.
  • Ability to operate computers, POS systems, and other necessary equipment.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds may be required.
  • Work is conducted in a fast-paced retail cannabis environment.
  • Frequent interaction with customers and team members is expected.
  • Willingness to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
