Client Relations Associates collaborate closely with both wholesale and retail clients to assess their requirements, respond to inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams offerings, and suggest suitable solutions.
They are also responsible for swiftly addressing any customer issues, ensuring optimal client satisfaction, and keeping abreast of product features while upholding the high quality and visual standards of our merchandise and store.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional customer service while consistently achieving the store's sales objectives.
- Engage with customers both in-person and via phone to identify needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Cultivate productive and trusting relationships with wholesale and retail clients.
- Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Maintain organized work order files and formulas.
- Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
- Tint and mix products according to customer specifications.
- Organize shelves and set up product displays.
- Ensure cleanliness of store equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Help with deliveries when required.
- Keep assigned areas well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Stay informed about product offerings and discuss available options with customers.
- Adhere to inventory control protocols.
- Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
- Must be capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have received at least a "meets expectations" (3) rating on the most recent performance appraisal.
- If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses for the current position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Hold at least a High School diploma or GED.
- Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
- Previous experience in selling paint and related products is advantageous.
- Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment is preferred.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language is a plus.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in Spanish is desirable.
