Position Overview:

Client Relations Associates collaborate closely with both wholesale and retail clients to identify their requirements, address inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams offerings, and suggest suitable solutions.

They are also responsible for swiftly addressing any client issues and ensuring optimal customer satisfaction while remaining informed about product features and upholding the high quality and visual standards of our offerings and store.

Client Relations Associates strive to deliver outstanding customer service while consistently achieving the store's sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through superior sales service.
  • Assist clients both in-person and via phone by identifying needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
  • Establish and nurture productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail clients.
  • Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain accurate work order files and formulations.
  • Retrieve appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
  • Tint and mix products according to customer specifications as required.
  • Restock shelves and create appealing displays.
  • Keep store equipment clean and operational.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Support delivery efforts as needed.
  • Maintain assigned areas in a well-stocked and presentable condition.
  • Stay knowledgeable about available products and discuss options with clients.
  • Adhere to inventory control procedures.
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.


Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.


Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, you must have received at least a "meets expectations" (3) rating on your most recent performance appraisal.

If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses for your current position.

Preferred Qualifications:
Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.

Hold at least a High School diploma or GED.

Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.

Previous experience selling paint and related products is advantageous.

Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment is preferred.

Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language is a plus.

Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in Spanish is beneficial.
