Production Manager

Ferrero is a leading global confectionery company with a rich history and a commitment to excellence. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.
Main Responsibilities- Optimize Production Processes: Oversee daily activities associated with the optimization of production factors, including material, method, labor force, and machinery.
- Lead Production Teams: Responsible for all production phases within your area of competence, including preparation, packaging, and quality control.
- Collaborate with Production Manager: Partner with the Production Manager to allocate resources and develop skills within the production team.
- Manage Resource Allocation: Apply defined criteria to resource management on production lines, including changes, break substitutions, and employee scheduling.
- Conflict Resolution: Manage personal conflicts between line resources, lead disciplinary meetings, and recommend disciplinary measures to HR.
- Talent Development: Partner with HR to select line personnel and provide evaluations for new hires.
- Workplace Safety: Apply all necessary measures to avoid incidents in the workplace and provide measures to reduce the absences of line employees.
- Skills Development: Provide insight to define guidelines for the skills development for line employees.
- Communication: Facilitate seamless handoffs and communicate key information to peers, team members, and Production Management.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of leadership experience, preferably in a union manufacturing environment, or 5 years of supervisory/management experience, preferably in a union manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Experience with SAP preferred, and proficiency with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, troubleshooting/problem-solving, interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork skills, with the ability to direct production employees in a proactive and positive manner.
- Work Environment: Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
