Position Overview: We are seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our buildings, equipment, and overall environment across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise maintenance and construction activities to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate Facilities department staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Coordinate space allocation and manage facility expansion projects effectively.
  • Develop and manage budgets for facility modifications, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct inspections of facility projects, providing updates to management on progress and compliance.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the work order management system, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will supervise a team of 5-6 employees, including supervisory and technical staff.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Relevant educational background.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Experience in healthcare settings is preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as FMP, CFM, PMP, or SSGB are advantageous.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities and capacity to multitask.
  • Proficient in creating and delivering presentations.

Working Conditions: This role may involve a combination of remote work and in-office responsibilities, with some travel required based on business needs.
