Job Title: Corporate Chef

Bar Crenn is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Corporate Chef to oversee the culinary operations of our restaurants. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, culinary operation, and presentation across all our locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee BOH operations for Crenn restaurants, ensuring compliance with all regulatory controls and laws.
  • Conduct daily and weekly tastings with kitchen teams to monitor the quality of raw and cooked food products.
  • Maintain long-standing relationships with local farmers and purveyors to ensure the highest quality products.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance kitchen efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the management team on pricing strategies and menu engineering to drive traffic and check average.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and purchasing of ingredients and kitchen supplies, ensuring cost control and budget adherence.
  • Develop and implement training programs for BOH employees, ensuring continuous improvement and growth.
  • Recruit and hire upper-level BOH management, ensuring the right talent for each location.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or a related field, with advanced culinary training or certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a two-three starred Michelin-starred restaurant, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing innovative menus, with expertise in operations, P&L analysis, management development, cost control, and health and safety practices.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Strong skills in technology, including Google Suite, Excel, and kitchen operations programs.
