About the Role:
The City of Redmond, WA is seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our Finance Department. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, including assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile, prepare, and maintain assigned portion of the accounting system.
- Assist with report preparation and accounting support activities of the division.
- Review source documents and financial records for accuracy.
- Verify and compute changes to financial transactions.
- Research, resolve, and balance assigned responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration or related field.
- Two (2) years of related experience.
- Valid Washington State Driver's License and a driving record that meets city standards.
