Parking Operations Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a Parking Operations Supervisor to become a vital part of our team at Colonial Downs Group LLC. In this role, you will oversee transportation and valet services for our patrons while assisting the Transportation Manager with various administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient departmental operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff.
  • Lead and mentor team members within the department.
  • Assist in achieving operational objectives and tracking performance metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to schedules while maintaining guest satisfaction.
  • Support compliance with departmental financial plans.
  • Uphold service standards and promptly resolve any arising issues.
  • Safely park and retrieve vehicles for guests.
  • Welcome guests and provide them with relevant information about our services.
  • Facilitate effective communication among team members.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks.
  • Train and onboard new staff members.
  • Monitor transportation operations to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Manage vehicle detailing processes and inventory requirements.
  • Operate a variety of vehicles.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • At least two years of experience as a Valet Attendant.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Proficient in operating both standard and automatic transmission vehicles.

CERTIFICATIONS: Virginia Racing Commission License is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position demands the ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and communicate effectively in a moderately loud environment.
