Job Title: Banking Operations Specialist

Join Colonial Downs + Rosie's Gaming Emporium in a role that requires exceptional organizational and communication skills. As our newest Banking Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Vault.

Job Summary:

The Banking Operations Specialist will be the first point of contact for all banking-related transactions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all transactions, including cash, coin, and ticket transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate levels of coin and currency in the Cashiers' Cage.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and guests to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Follows all relevant policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and laws.
  • Verifies that coin shipments and currency bank deposits are prepared accurately and timely.
  • Ensures that contents of the vault are organized so they can be readily counted at shift change.
  • Prepares and completes all job-related paperwork, including cash count sheets, coin transfers, bank summary sheets, and other value items.
  • Completes currency transaction reports as required by law.
  • Reconciles inventories at the end of assigned shift, including F&B cashier, coin cashier, HRM attendant, and others.
  • Forwards all end-of-shift and end-of-day paperwork to accounting for review and retention.
  • Reconciles automated jackpot machines as required.
  • Safeguards assigned cash drawer and Casino assets.
  • Counts and verifies all transactions in the Cage at the beginning and end of shift.
  • Makes change and exchanges tickets for cash.
  • Maintains jet sort equipment by clearing coin jams and changing coin bags.
  • Maintains accurate cage cash transmittal forms and other paperwork.
  • Maintains confidentiality of Casino Operations data.
Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities:
  • Attends required training sessions offered by the Company.
  • Obtains and retains required licenses.
  • Performs duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Takes necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Has knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member's department.
  • Has knowledge of the Property's programs to address problem gaming.
  • Reports any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.
Education, Training, and Experience:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • Must have at least two years as a cashier or bank teller.
  • Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary:

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
