Job Summary:

The Patient Access Specialist plays a vital role in facilitating patient access to care through effective communication and registration processes. This position is located in a call center setting, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate patient registration and scheduling

• Record and manage patient communications

• Provide exceptional customer service and support

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience working with the public and in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and phone skills

• Computer and typing skills

• Medical office experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Physical Demands:

The Patient Access Specialist must be able to move, traverse, and remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours per day. Additionally, they must have motor coordination, complete manual dexterity, articulate speech, visual acuity, and the ability to hear.
