Join Ensemble Health Partners as a Patient Access Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Access Specialist to join our team at Rockridge Hospital. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patients through our hospital's admitting process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign accurate MRNs, complete medical necessity/compliance checks, and provide proper patient instructions.
  • Collect insurance information, receive and process physician orders, and utilize an overlay tool while providing excellent customer service.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls as applicable.
  • Adhere to policies and provide excellent customer service in interactions with patients and staff.
  • Conduct audits of accounts and ensure all forms are completed accurately and timely.
  • Pre-register patient accounts prior to visits, collect point-of-service collections, and explain general consent for treatment forms.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of customer service experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire (company-paid).
