Position Summary
We are looking for a Client Service Associate to become a vital part of our team. This role is centered around client support, marketing initiatives, scheduling, meeting prioritization, database management, and general organizational assistance. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach to foresee business requirements and will take on various project-oriented responsibilities. This position will manage sensitive and critical information and prepare materials for executive discussions and meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate high-quality analytical reports utilizing various software tools.
- Organize daily tasks, monitor project progress and deadlines, manage phone communications, and coordinate appointments.
- Assist clients with diverse needs and inquiries.
- Quickly acquire knowledge of account procedures to effectively address client questions.
- Show initiative and a desire to enhance understanding of relevant regulations and concepts.
- Strengthen relationships with advisors through prompt and accurate responses, maintaining integrity and respect in all interactions.
- Manage the database of contacts and associates.
- Oversee marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Engage in special projects as assigned.
- Collaborate with other support staff, Financial Advisors, and Management within the local office.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in Finance, Broker-Dealer, or Investment sectors.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a willingness to obtain relevant licenses.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive and positive problem-solving attitude.
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work.
- Capable of engaging professionally and courteously with employees, vendors, and clients.
- Able to meet deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. offers a competitive salary range for this position, which reflects various factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and organizational needs. The current salary range for this role is $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 annually. Additionally, eligible positions may receive further compensation such as discretionary bonuses and participation in incentive compensation plans.
We provide a comprehensive benefits package that may include Health, Dental, Vision, Mental Health & Wellness programs, 401(K), and Paid Time Off (PTO). Eligible employees may also receive paid family medical leave and disability benefits as required by law.
Compensation and benefits are structured for full-time employment throughout the calendar year, with adjustments made for part-time roles based on hours worked. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who commence employment during the calendar year.
