Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mobile Crisis Team Clinician to join our team at Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center Inc. As a Mobile Crisis Team Clinician, you will provide assessment and crisis intervention services to individuals in need, working collaboratively with law enforcement and other community resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in need, including assessment, counseling, and referrals to community resources.
  • Work collaboratively with law enforcement and other community resources to ensure a comprehensive response to crisis situations.
  • Develop and implement crisis intervention plans to address the unique needs of each individual.
  • Provide ongoing support and follow-up services to individuals and their families as needed.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work or a related field, with a focus on crisis intervention and counseling.
  • 2+ years of experience in crisis intervention and counseling, with a strong background in mental health and substance abuse.
  • Valid Maryland driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality services to individuals in crisis.
