Business Development Representative

United Fleet Management is revolutionizing the way small and medium-sized businesses manage their fleet. Our innovative program addresses the needs of businesses with one vehicle or one hundred.

We serve a diverse customer base, including construction industry companies, oilfield suppliers, land management companies, and other businesses that require reliable fleet management options.

We are seeking a dedicated Business Development Representative to join our sales team. This role is critical to our success, and we are looking for a team member who is innovative, tenacious, and passionate about achieving results.

A successful candidate will have a track record of successfully identifying sales opportunities in the fleet leasing space. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing new account prospects and supporting the sales team.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate prospective commercial customers through cold calling and delivering United Fleet Management's value proposition
  • Engage customers in qualitative discussions around their business needs to determine the value that UFM would provide
  • Schedule customer appointments and follow up with them in a timely manner
  • Maintain current knowledge of market conditions and competitors' activities
  • Analyze customers' businesses to understand their fleet needs
Qualifications:
  • B.A or B.S. degree, preferably in Business or Marketing
  • Previous sales experience calling commercial customers
  • Proven success of meeting and exceeding sales metrics
  • Experience utilizing CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for sales tracking and management
  • Self-motivated and extremely goal-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • An inherent hunter mentality and lead generation expertise
  • Automotive Industry or Sales experience preferred
Compensation:

Starting $40,000 base salary, and uncapped commission (with an $80,000 OTE)
