We are seeking a highly motivated Swimming Pool Safety Officer to join our team at the YMCA of Southern Maine. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for effectively and safely supervising the pool environment to prevent drowning and injuries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Programming – Supports all Association protocols and priorities, including regular support for programming by guarding and performing water chemistry tests.
  • Leadership – Communicates effectively and makes sound decisions as a collaborative and engaged participant in our Association.

The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Salary: $16.00 - $17.00/hour, depending on experience.
