Pool Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Lifeguard to join our team at the YMCA of Southern Maine. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of pool patrons.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the pool area to prevent accidents and respond to emergencies.
- Provide safety instructions and training to pool users.
- Render CPR and first aid as needed.
- Certifications including: Current YMCA or American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and Basic First Aid.
- Strong swimming skills.
- Ability to travel locally.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and be committed to providing exceptional customer service. We offer a competitive salary of $16.00 - $17.00 per hour, depending on experience.
