Medical Office Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at InterMed. This role is responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of the office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate approved provider schedule changes in electronic medical records
- Manage AMION and TeleMed provider schedules
- Monitor physicians' schedules, adjust for vacation times, and update pod mapping
- Oversee office supply inventory
- Provide coverage for the front desk as needed
- Act as liaison to the Safety Officer to organize staff ergonomic evaluations and safety tours
- Coordinate conference room scheduling for staff meetings and monthly department meetings
- Distribute RVU reports
- Coordinate the management of no-show/short notice cancel letters
- Coordinate the management of deceased patient accounts
- Coordinate management of inactivated patient accounts
- Distribute monthly Quality reports to clinical staff and coordinators
- Distribute other practice management reports as directed by the Department Chief and Practice Manager
- Provide general setup for staff meetings and continuing medical education luncheons
- Initiate IT and Facility Dude help desk tickets and track progress until issues are resolved
- Coordinate CPR scheduling for staff and providers
- Review daily conference room reservations and post calendars to corresponding rooms
- Perform all other projects assigned by the Practice Manager and/or Department Chief
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's degree in Business or a related field (preferred)
- Previous administrative experience in a medical office environment
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and webmail
- Good professional judgment skills
- The ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- The ability to foster an enhanced team environment
- The ability to multitask, prioritize, organize, and plan work independently
- A commitment to excellence in customer service and clinical care
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
